The Tough Mudder, the "world's toughest obstacle course," is upon us: February 5, 2011, in Austin, Texas.
In preparation for the event, which is between seven and twelve miles long and includes up to 20 obstacles (the entire course is designed by British Special Forces not to be completed for time, but simply to be completed), I'm creating my own CrossFit workouts tailored to what I think will help me do my best.
My first WOD (workout of the day) is below. I'll be videotaping most of my workouts in order to keep an accurate log. On the bus this morning, I had an epiphany: using an iFrame to display my Google Calendar with all my workouts, meal logs, and links to workout videos. That might happen today along with short blog updates. We'll see. For now, my first WOD is below.
10 Rounds For Time
5 broad jumps
10 burpees
15 squats
20 situps
