The Tough Mudder, the "world's toughest obstacle course," is upon us: February 5, 2011, in Austin, Texas. In preparation for the event, which is between seven and twelve miles long and includes up to 20 obstacles (the entire course is designed by British Special Forces not to be completed for time, but simply to be completed), I'm creating my own CrossFit workouts tailored to what I think will help me do my best. My first WOD (workout of the day) is below. I'll be videotaping most of my workouts in order to keep an accurate log. On the bus this morning, I had an epiphany: using an iFrame to display my Google Calendar with all my workouts, meal logs, and links to workout videos. That might happen today along with short blog updates. We'll see. For now, my first WOD is below. 10 Rounds For Time 5 broad jumps 10 burpees 15 squats 20 situps Dim lights Embed Embed this video on your site
I'm back from Israel! I haven't updated my blog in a long, long while, but I have some time now and I'll be updating both this page and my travel page with news and pictures from my trip.

For now, check out my Picasa Web Album of all my pictures of Israel. I haven't added any tags yet, but they're coming.

Fixed some broken links, added and removed some content.
Last night, Janelle took me out to dinner and to the opening night of In The Heights, a Tony award-winning musical and, as usual, I had an incredible time with her. (Who wouldn't?) The show was unbelievable, easily making it into the top five musicals I've ever seen. Definitely a must-see.

FYI: Don't mind the funky timestamps - these were taken 6/22/2010. My camera has a mind of its own.
